Frequently Asked Questions

Clear answers about our platform, publication standards, and process.

About the Platform

What is SecondSideMedia?

SecondSideMedia is a neutral publishing platform that hosts structured, attributable records in response to public claims. We publish formal submissions under defined standards with clear disclosures and jurisdictional scope.

Why did you create this platform?

We created this platform to provide a structured, neutral way to publish formal responses to public claims. Online narratives can persist without context, and there is often no standardized channel for an equally formal clarification.

What problem does this platform solve?

Public claims often remain searchable long after circumstances change, while responses are scattered or informal. We provide a standardized format for publishing a clear, attributable record.

How does this platform differ from a blog or PR site?

We publish under classification standards, standing verification, and structural templates with required disclosures. We do not add editorial framing or narrative packaging.

Is this a reputation management service?

No. We do not offer suppression, pay-to-remove, SEO manipulation, or outcome-based services. We provide structured publication of authenticated records under neutral standards.

Who Can Submit

Who can submit content?

Submissions may be made by individuals or organizations directly connected to the matter, or by authorized representatives acting on their behalf. We verify standing before publication.

Do you allow anonymous submissions?

No. Every record must be attributable to an identifiable person or authorized entity. This is central to credibility and to preventing misuse.

Are you affiliated with courts, regulators, or government bodies?

No. We are an independent publication platform and do not represent or act on behalf of any governmental authority.

Do you provide legal advice?

No. We are not a law firm and do not provide legal advice. We verify standing and structure but do not assess legal merits.

What We Publish

What types of records do you publish?

We publish defined record types such as formal responses, procedural updates, status clarifications, and supplementary information. Each type has a specific purpose and required disclosures.

See our Record Types & Classification Standards.

What does “authenticated” mean?

Authentication means we have verified the submitter’s identity and authority to publish the record. It confirms standing and attribution, but does not mean we endorse factual accuracy or certify legal correctness.

Review and Publication Process

How does your review process work?

We review submissions for standing, classification, and structural compliance under our standards. We do not rewrite content for persuasion or strategy.

What does your review process involve in practice?

The process focuses on whether a submission can be published under our standards, not whether the underlying dispute is “right.” We may request additional documentation to confirm authority or clarify scope.

How long does review take?

Typical review is 2–5 business days depending on documentation completeness and verification pathway. Timeframes may vary for complex authority verification.

Is publication guaranteed?

No. We may decline submissions that lack verified authority, fail structural requirements, or attempt to use the platform for advocacy, harassment, or improper targeting.

Is content permanent?

Records are published as part of a structured archive. If updates are needed, we publish an additional record rather than silently editing the prior one.

What happens if information changes after publication?

We do not silently modify published records. If circumstances evolve, an updated or supplementary record may be published so readers can see the full chronology.

Disputes and Responses

Can third parties dispute a published record?

Yes. Affected parties may submit a structured response that meets our standards.

Contact us if you believe a response is relevant.

Are affected third parties notified?

We do not promise notification in every case. Where appropriate and feasible, we may provide a contact pathway or publish an associated response record.

International Scope

Do you operate internationally?

Yes. Records may relate to matters across jurisdictions. Each publication identifies relevant jurisdictions and scope limitations explicitly.

Fees and Value

How are fees structured?

All packages are fixed-fee and paid in advance.

Fees reflect structured review, verification routing, classification standards, and publication under the platform’s procedural framework.

Do you offer any guarantees?

Pricing does not depend on outcome, visibility, or traffic. We do not guarantee reputational results, search visibility changes, or third-party platform actions.

Do you offer any discounts on your pricing?

Connected Records may qualify for discounted pricing when multiple publications relate to the same matter and are structured within the same procedural framework.

How does your pricing work if there is a lot of volume?

Enterprise and Founding Professional Access arrangements are structured separately and may include coordinated planning or volume considerations for professionals managing multiple matters.

Can I pay after confirming that my content shows up on AI search tools?

No. We do not charge success-based, performance-based, removal-based, or outcome-contingent fees.

All fees are fixed in advance and reflect structured review and publication under defined standards.

Why should someone pay to publish a record on this platform?

Publication creates a structured, attributable, and procedurally reviewed public record under defined standards.

This structure is often more credible and durable than informal posts, reactive statements, or self-hosted content.

Search and AI

Will this remove negative content from search engines or AI tools?

No. We do not control search engines, AI systems, or third-party publishers. We publish a structured public record that may be independently indexed or referenced.

How will I know if this platform helps?

We do not promise outcomes, removals, or ranking changes. The value is a clear, attributable record that can be discovered and referenced over time, depending on external systems and readers.

How does this interact with AI systems?

We publish records in structured, machine-readable formats. We cannot control third-party AI outputs, but we continuously review formatting and metadata standards to align with evolving retrieval practices.

We explore this topic in more detail in our Insights section.

Compliance and Misuse Prevention

How do you handle legal or compliance concerns?

We apply jurisdictional scope rules, structural disclosure requirements, and a notice-and-submission process. We may decline content that is not properly attributable or outside our standards.

See our Notice & Compliance Policy.

How do you prevent misuse of the platform?

We require attributable submissions and verify standing. We also enforce format and disclosure rules and decline content that attempts to use the platform for advocacy, harassment, or improper targeting.

Operational Model

How does the platform generate revenue?

Revenue is derived from structured publication fees and related verification services. We do not monetize through advertising, sponsored placement, or engagement-based incentives.

How do you maintain neutrality while charging fees?

Fees are tied to process and structure, not outcomes. Payment does not influence classification, review standards, or publication decisions.

Is the business model scalable?

The model is process-driven and template-based, allowing consistent application of standards. Scaling is primarily operational rather than editorial.
